It has been a while since I posted a comment on the site. I have had to take a breather after the Cornwall Council election and the very disappointing personal result. I think we faced a number of particular difficulties in Camborne.

So the bad news is I will not be able to contribute to the new Cornwall Council as I had hoped but the good news is I will have a lot more time to concentrate on Illogan Parish Council and my other personal interests. One of these is sailing and I will do a piece on my activities with BATS, or Blind at Sea, whichich is a charity organisation that provides sailing and other watersport experiences for local blind and visually handicapped people.

The council is having its summer break! but I am sure you will be glad to know that the Parish Plan household survey data is being entered and will be analysed by the steering group shortly. We had around 450 forms returned, nearly a 25% return , well done to those who responded.

At least tthe sun came out today and hopefully provided a little cheer for all after the recent gloomy weather.
